Apprentice Spotlight: Agnes
The National Apprenticeship Week theme for Tuesday is “Registered Apprenticeship in New and Emerging Industries”. Read on to learn how Agnes at Lifepoint Health is innovating with the Environment Services Tech program.
The Environmental Services Tech (EVS) program supports hospitals and local communities with employee training and development that expands clinical knowledge and capabilities particular to unique hospital settings. Lifepoint’s programs are registered nationally with the Department of Labor/Office of Apprenticeship, providing apprentices with career pathways that foster professional development and promote the advancement of quality patient care.
“Agnes completed our Environmental Services Apprenticeship Program and then served as a presenter leading a four-month series for the EVS Apprenticeship Program. Agnes’ dedication to the apprenticeship program is indicative of her leadership style as the EVS Lead within her hospital. Our apprenticeship program, hospitals, and patients are fortunate to have Agnes’ leadership. She is an invaluable member of our team and deserves to be recognized outside our organization,” shared Laura Dailey, Director of Educational Program Design and Lifepoint Health.
